Risk taker, eh? ;) |
No pain, no gain! For a sporty soul like you, a few scrapes and scratches are a small price to pay for the thrill of victory and the rush of adrenaline through your veins. You're an explorer who enjoys getting out and pushing yourself to the limit. If it'll get your heart pumping, we'd guess that you've done it already, or at least are game to try it. From cliff diving to river rafting to mountain biking, why not give it a whirl? After all, the view's better from the top. And you'll have plenty of fun getting there whether you're hiking, climbing, or 4-wheel driving to your next adventure. So keep exploring, just try not to push it too far. You're not indestructible, but we don't have to tell you that.

Loop [Part Three/Last Part of the 3/11 Poems] |
Loop i've been trying in vain to write you hateful poems i always end up writing poems of love
hard to tell which is which they all look, hear the same. i do mean to write hateful words of you.
i wish this time, this poem would change everything now. not a poem of love but a poem of hate.
i can promise you that because of every loop this pen of mine make is a loop of hate.

Me [Part Two of the 3/11 Poems] |
Me was it really me? who did all of these to you? i don't recall touching you. was it really me?
don't accuse me, please when you don't have any proof. don't turn things around for you have compassion, please.
what am i saying? these things are just illusions; illusions i've been doing it was really me.

Happy [Part One of the 3/11 Poems] |
I called it 3/11 because I made 3 poems last night with an interval of 11minutes each poem. :) Hope you guys like it as much I liked making them.
Oh yeah, the 3/11 is also found at my deviantArt account. :)
Happy i am happy, yes i can tell you that. but i can't assure you it's sincere enough.
sometimes, and sometimes all i can think of are all the things you've done all the things you're doing.
you did not mean it tell me you did not. and if you have to lie oh, nevermind it then
this doesn't make sense anymore to you oh, even more to me. now, don't know what to do.
just let it forego i can't even do forgive and forget? no. i'm happy? i don't know.

The Hunt Is On!! 102707 |
The night hunt was uber awesome! It was a scavenger hunt. We have to look for 50items that can be found within the city and probably within the landmarks that we're supposed to go and take a picture with it.
It's somewhat like "Get to Know Davao City" LOL. Cos it's been 16 years my team and I living here in Davao and we don't know the way around the city. XD nevertheless, it was really awesome. Good thing dad was our driver, he really knows Davao City. He also has a lot of connection, so, some items were from his friends.
One of the landmarks was the statue of David at Times Beach seawall. The statue was naked. So, we had to take a picture with it. LOL.
We got caught up at GAP Farm. It was already dark and it was really difficult to take a picture with the giant Carabao and it was closed. Darn. We took a picture anyway, but the marshalls didn't consider it. Ergh. Also, the marshalls didn't consider the picture we took with the San Pedro Catheral's bell tower. C'mon! it was really tall we couldn't take the whole thing without the two members being clear in the picture. = I guess, that didn't make any sense so, I'll move on.
We checked in at the pitstop, Damosa Gateway, 2mins before the cut-off time. While waiting for the marshall to check the other team's items and itinerary, we sat down and we got an interview by the ABS-CBN! We might be featured tomorrow's TV Patrol Southern Mindanao news! *faint* LOL, but it was Joan who did all the talking. The only thing I said was "diskarte talaga" or something like that. Haha, it's not me getting tongue-tied when I'm at school, I'm keep on yapping and yapping. XD
We were one of the youngest teams who join the race and we garnered 8th place out of 14 teams. The other youngest team garnered 10th place. Ain't we cool! XD we, I mean my team--Camille, Joan and I, didn't get any raffle prizes. We only got the Certificate of Participation. Lol, still, it was cool. The other youngest team--Almundstin--got a raffle prize: overnight stay at one of the resthouses at Buddha, an hour and a half trip from the city.
Congrats to them, to us and to the other teams who participated.
It was a really wonderful experience expecially at this stage of our lives. We are still 16 year old senior highschool students who made a difference. That how old you are, how really fit you are to do these kind of 'adventure' does not really matter that much. As long as you have the burning passion to be part of it, to do it. That's what we have, the burning passion to do this Night Hunt. We hope this wouldn't be a once in a lifetime experience for us.
Night Hunt '08, here we come! XD
End.

San Francisco is the place where your creative side will shine, and just about everyone you meet in this progressive city will love you for it. With so much inspiration — the sun setting behind the Golden Gate Bridge, the fog silently floating over the bay, the thundering Pacific Ocean — romance is inevitable. The only trouble you'll have is deciding where to start. A hot singles bar? The theatre? The symphony? Our recommendation? A hip coffeehouse with your sketchpad and journal.

Hey, do-gooder! Mother Earth must be your greatest fan. Solar panels? Beach cleanups? Alternative energy? They're all okay by you! You understand more than most that protecting the environment today will preserve our planet for generations to come. Proactive and driven, even if you don't have time to go out and save a rainforest, you do what you can to lessen your impact — be it recycling or simply saving water. Open to new ideas and willing to take the extra step, you certainly see the forest beyond the trees. And luckily for the rest of us, you realize there's more to life than creature comforts. Way to be green!

Like your music match Alicia Keys sings, "Some people want it all. But everything means nothing if I ain't got you." While you may come across as cool, you've got depths that run deeper than most. Sure material possessions are nice, but you know there's more to life than diamonds, fancy cars, and big houses. It's about connecting and sharing a deeper bond with others. And having someone to share those nice things with. Maybe you're a romantic who's got a way with words. Maybe you're just more expressive than other folks. Whatever it is, one thing's for sure — you've got soul. And that's what makes you a smooth and sexy siren. Now that's hot!

I Always Wanted a Cat! *cuddles the kitty picture* |
When it comes to finding the puuuur-fect pet, you should look no further than a cute little puss in boots. Just like your feline counterpart, you'd never shy away from a challenge. Always inquisitive, you're known for being a little quiet, but that's just because you like to take it all in before you make a move. Watching your kitty bat away at a ball of string? Feeling her purr against your stomach? Now that's the cat's meow! Independent, self-confident, and self-assured, you like to make friends and hang out on your own terms. So now that the cat's out of the bag, go bag one of your own!

People who choose Green over other colors reveals that they have a desire to impress others and be recognized. They're assertive and are driven by an idealized self-perception. They have a need to get their way when faced with resistance or opposition from others. It's possible that this can mean they're stubborn, although it may only be an indicator that they're assertive.

Good for you! Your self-esteem looks pretty healthy to us! Maybe you don't consider yourself a total rock star (yet), but our guess is that others do! You also know that a big part of feeling good and looking good is taking care of yourself and treating your body right. The key is in your attitude and not freaking out when you don't get the greatest grade on a test or when someone else has the same outfit on as you. You take it in stride and see that it's the big picture that matters most. Your mature and confident approach will surely take you straight to the top in anything you do. Congrats! Keep it up!

I'll change my lucky number then. I always wanted to be an ambassador. =/ |
Oh, hello Number 9. As a Peacemaker, you are the glue that holds relationships together—yours, your friends', and even the couple arguing in the booth behind you. Number 9, your house is all windows and no mirrors. The view's great, but get a haircut. Your unbelievable knack for seeing all sides of an issue makes you quite the mediator, but sometimes it can also be the Denver Boot that prevents you from getting your own life out of park. Marriage counselor, ambassador, arbitrator; these are all possible occupations for you Peacemakers. As a Number 9, you want more harmony in life than a Bee-Gees song. But your groovy days of helping others are just a bad trip until you show some fearless self-evaluation. You're so good at identifying with others, you tend to repress your own needs in exchange for feeling wanted. So don't be afraid to get to know yourself like other 9s, Marge Simpson, Rose Kennedy, and Walt Disney. When you have a stronger grasp on yourself, it will turbo charge your already tremendous ability to problem-solve.

First PT day..and others |
The CL test was....damn. My hands hurt after I answered it. Full of questions that needs explanations! ~_~ I hate explaining myself. o_O lol. All in all, it wasn't that hard. The only part that was hard was the grammar that my teacher used. Wow, I can't understand his grammar. Not only I who had a hard time understanding his grammar. Lol.
Tomorrow's tests are English and Filipino. I already had my timetable set in my mind what time I'll start studying on both subjects. I'll start studying Filipino around 2:oopm and I'll start English around 6:00pm.
I don't enjoy reading in Tagalog =/ It'll take me a lot of time to finish reading a selection. = that's why I'll be studying Filipino first. Besides, Filipino test will be after recess/study time.
Oh yeah! My pet white mouse, Nibby, gave birth today to 8 babies--or whatever equivalent to a mouse. *twitch* it's awesome! Although, I don't want to have any more white mice. Nibby is enough for me. So, when the baby mice are old enough, I might sell them to PetCo--if they'd accept though. *shrugs*
No wonder Nibby was unusually fat for the past days/weeks. Lol. Well, I have to make most of the internet time I have before studying. *cringe*

Periodical Test Week!! *dies* |
Schedule of our Tests: - 23rd October: Christian Living (and Health--not sure though)
- 24th October: English and Filipino
- 25th October: Economics and Physics
- 26th October: Trigonometry
Starting 23rd, we'll follow the half-day schedule so that we'll have a lot of time to study for the tests the next day. Speaking of studying...I've been trying IN VAIN to study for the test/s tomorrow. *headdesk* Numerous things had been happening to me...emotionally, socially or whatsoever...and, I have to quote from one of the R/Hr fanfiction I read, "She hated him with every fiber of her being, every pore in her body was oozing hatred for that awful, cruel horrible boy who just kept hurting her and hurting her over and over again." Yes..and just thinking about it makes me hate him more. Bottomline is, Mickey's falling for Lexie(tentative for correct spelling). Lexie's a close friend of mine. It seems like Lexie's falling for Mickey too. It just hurts so much. Pathetic, yes. I don't care. *grunt* End. [PS: Mickey and Lexie aren't real people. They are just code names a few and intimate people I know who knows.] Labels: emotions, fanfiction, school, tests |

Another result from Tickle.com and what happened yesterday |
What Type Are You? You are a Hopeless romantic Do you swoon when a guy recites poetry to you? Go ga-ga over a bouquet of hand-picked wildflowers? Then there's no doubt about it — you're a textbook Hopeless Romantic. Chances are you love soft music, candlelight, and long walks on the beach at sunset. Crying at sappy movies (your favorite kind) is a given — a box of tissues is a must — and you've have had your wedding planned since grade school. You're looking for a deep relationship — a soulmate. Traditional and sympathetic, guys love that they can open up to you and talk to you about their feelings, their past, and their hopes for the future. How can a suitor win your heart? By romancing you. Sending you flowers, surprising you with a picnic lunch, or going for a horse-drawn carriage ride. Before you know it, you'll be creating a life-long love story.
Dammmnnnn....Tickle.com is really accurate! >_<
Anyhoo, what happened yesterday? Our Economics teacher grouped us and asked each group to advertise a product..our own product. She graded us according to how we endorsed the product. Guess what, not being y'know, she appreciated the presentation of my group. Damn! I really can't get over it! Sincerely, I do liked my acting. To tell you, it wasn't me who acted. It's like Aphrodite possessed me or something! Geez! *dies*
Uhm, I'll be taking my Entrance Exam tomorrow for a college here in Davao, San Pedro College. It will be in the morning, 7:30am SPC timel which is 30mins advance from the real Davao time. *faint* Wish me luck guys! *luffs*

how IRONIC! |
The guy next door can be a lot more than the kid who played a great game of tag and buried you in snowballs. He can be the man of your dreams. A laidback and fun girl like you doesn't need a glass slipper or fancy jewels — you just want a guy who knows how to have a good time and has a handle on what's important. You're the kind of girl who wants to marry her best friend, so you might not have to look far for the perfect guy for you. Whoever said you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince wasn't talking about you. Tag — you're it!

Totally unexpected!! LMAO. Prolly the effect of yesterday's happening..XD |
We'll take a step back now, because nobody gets in your way and nobody can tell you what to do. You sure are one heck of a confident character, just like your High School Musical match, Sharpay. More often than not, you just have to be in the spotlight, no matter what it takes. Just be careful that you don't come off as too self absorbed. After all, you need to keep those friends in high places. But whether you are shopping for mirrors or fighting off anyone who tries to steal your crown as the drama queen, we bet you'll be making headlines for years to come. Toodles!

Megawatt Like Julia |
We learned to love Julia for her big and bold goose-honk laugh and for her even bigger and bolder megawatt smile. Lucky you too have a gorgeous grin like America's Sweetheart. Your dazzling smile shows the world exactly what you're thinking and feeling inside, and let's people know that you are there to make a splash. When it comes to meeting people and trying new experiences, you tend to be confident and fearless, which makes others grateful you are around. Your gutsy approach to life is as infectious as your smile. Bring it on!

Heart-Strong Idealist |
You're an impassioned individual who just can't suppress your ideals. You've got a strong sense of right and wrong, and want to let people know when they've crossed the line. Sure, there are times when you sit back to hear both sides of an argument. But people had better stay out of the way when your fiery passions take hold. But just because you can be a bit of a rebel with a cause, it doesn't mean you're incapable of being understanding and compassionate. It's because you're so invested in your ideas and interests that you can work so tirelessly toward your goals and speak up for what you believe in. So keep pouring your heart into it. With conviction like yours, you're sure to succeed!

Individuals who score high on happiness experience strong feelings of satisfaction, contentment and have a positive outlook on life. Happiness is an emotionally charged state, but is not attached to a particular level of energy. Happy individuals are likely to spend time reflecting on the positive aspects of their life before racing on to the next thing.

No one ever accused you of not having a soft side. And that's why friends flock to your sympathetic ear and well-thought-out advice. You are tuned in to the world around you, and you are always looking for ways to bring people together and enjoy each other's company. While some people might have one or two close friends, you like to spread your wings and socialize with any number of people. You are open-hearted and free-spirited, making it easy for you to find common ground with anyone you meet. Keep up the good work — everyone could use a friend like you.

is a traumatic victim of love's bittersweet harassment |
I was thinking of typing in an entry last thursday...but I was so slumped from sportsfest; so, I just read some fanfics. XD
Anyway, about sportsfest..last thursday was the championship games of most sports and also the awarding of prizes. Our unit, the Blue Surfers, was the overall 1st runner-up. Not that bad though.
I seriously couldn't believe that Nik was MVP! O____O we were shocked that we weren't able to clap. = gawd, Nik doesn't deserve it....at least for our standards. *pokes self for being mean*
The Amazing Race happened that morning. I can feel it that we, the Blue Surfers, would finish first place. But because of....*sigh* nevermind. We finished third place. And that makes me a-little-harsh-than-furious. >_>
Ok, about the title. Well, it speaks for itself. I can't really fathom why I'm feeling this. It's like am I cursed to feel this bad. Yes, it's still about the boy of the 'Sonnet 76', haha. It's like I want to shake him so that he'll wake up and see me first and....(v_v) but I don't want to risk the friendship we created. *headdesk* why is this so hard! Zeus-dammit!
Anyhoo, I'll just sidetrack myself with fanfic.

Sportsfest Week! |
Booyeah! *does a happy dance* it's sportsfest week! So, there ain't any classes! :pfd:
Sportsfest started yesterday, Tuesday. I, and the other cheerdancers, was PO'ed because the cheerdance for each Unit wasn't a competition. Grrrrrr. But all Units did all their best. Boogied like they never boogied before! LMAO.
Badminton games were.....fine, I suppose. At least we didn't finish last. But still, I wish I did more than what I did during the games. Congrats, Deydey!! Woop woop!! :chrleadr:
Kickball was fun. Well, I had fun cheering shouting. XD Kickball's like Baseball....only you just kick a ball. = hahaha. I'm sincerely sorry for destroying Deydey and Twix' ear drums cos of my cheering. =3 forgive me guys! Congrats, Millie and other players! Go Ria! LOL. Unit 3 should champion the Kickball game. *firm*
The Amazing Race was supposed to be today around 3pm but it was cancelled (or was it? *twitch*) and moved tomorrow. Grrrrr. I hate it. I was really ready for it. The adventure and stuff. *sigh* I just wish I would still have the enthusiasm to play like the enthusiasm I had for cheering for our team at Kickball, lol. XD
Palarong Pinoy or the Wacky Games was really fun. Lol, I joined it after my Badminton game. Haha. I'm ready for any adventure xP
All school projects are due next week and I've started 2 out of 3. Just start. As in, I really have to work on them for the next few days. =S

As [Shakespeare's] Sonnet 76 says... |
Sonnet 76
Why is my verse so barren of new pride, So far from variation or quick change? Why with the time do I not glance aside To new-found methods and to compounds strange? Why write I still all one, ever the same, And keep invention in a noted weed, That every word doth almost tell my name, Showing their birth and where they did proceed? O, know, sweet love, I always write of you, And you and love are still my argument; So all my best is dressing old words new, Spending again what is already spent. For as the sun is daily new and old, So is my love, still telling what is old. -- William Shakespeare
The poet poses the question of why his poetry never changes but keeps repeating the same language and technique. The answer, he says, is that his theme never changes; he always write of the beloved and of love. [Folger Shakespeare Library]
I borrowed that book at our school's library because of my obssession in poetry and in my desperation to have it in my hands.
I came across to that sonnet and it explains the question I have for myself. Most of the poems I wrote were for the same guy. Pathetic, I know. But it's the only outlet of all my emotions I have for him. (mushy...eck)
I can't help but be attracted to him. Frankly, he doesn't have much of the physical beauty. Something in him that caught my eye. Something that I can't quite place. Yet, I reckon, it is his strong determination of fulfilling his dream; which in reality it is impossible to fulfill.
It hurts me to see him go through it. He's like his imagination is trapped in a room where there is no doors, no windows, no holes for him to get out. But, in fact, there is this outlet if only he would just seek beyond the radius of his vision. I just hope and want him to make his range of view wider. That way he might see that I'm there determined to give the affection that was once turned down by her.
End of pathetic rant. Labels: pathetic love, Shakespeare, sonnet |

I should be getting ready for school |
Yesterday was fun! Although, math wasn't..and I don't like to discuss it. I just hope she'd burn in hell. hehe.
Anyway, I wasn't able to attend PE class! Yay! Bwahahaha! That's the good thing. Bad thing is, I have to cope up with the 'ethnic' stepping for our field demonstration. *cringe* I was practicing for our opening dance for our sportsfest next week. It was fun because the dance was from the studio where I was doing my workshop. So, I suppose, it was sort of not that difficult to memorize or what. I feel comfortable with it. I dunno, I can't fathom what I feel that time.
But! I was definitely insert-here-a-word-that-is-a-little-harsh-than-pissed because Medusa is included in the dance. Argh. I really hate Medusa.
Whoooo! I really have to get ready for school!

Fatigue and more |
Yesterday was a monday. Monday the first.
The classes were okay. Except for the fact that I'd surely fail the English Test. Argh. Greek Mythology sucks when you're under the goddess of late-comers. >_> The least that I could get MUST be 22 (Well, according to my mum's standards.....and mine, lol).
After classes, some of the members of my Physics group and I had to do our project: balancing with two potatoes with two nails and two forks. It was successful. Yay! The picture is found at the bottom of this post.
Then, cheerdance practice started. I. Was. Freakin'. Pissed. because of the first years--exception of Denise, of course. They couldn't follow simple instructions! The leaders were instructing us to one formation, but these first years wouldn't focus and I had to shout--not the full shout but still a shout--at them to stay focus because this is for our own good and for the good of the team. Ugh. As the practice continued, they were still hard-headed. Grrr! If only I could punch them at their faces but I couldn't; they would remain unfocused. *sigh*
On our way home, I fell asleep. I was having fatigue--both mental and physical exhaustion. I resumed my sleep when I changed my clothes. I have three homeworks. I didn't wake up when I asked my sister to wake me up at 21:00. Haha. Then I finally woke up a few hours ago and did one of the three homeworks.
I was supposed to do the other homework that was needed an internet connection. But I'm caught up with updating my blog. I guess there's no time to do it after this post because it's already 6:50am. My brother is still in the bathroom. I have to scold him to make haste cos I definitely don't want to be late.
